Homeschooling means a way that parents teach their children by themselves,not send children to school.The main educational place is home,the major teachers are parents,the educators are their children,and the teaching materials are traditional textbooks or correspondence courses,the educational mode is one-to-one or one-to-many.Homeschooling is legitimate in many countries,and become a reasonable way to study.While homeschooling is still a new thing that hasn't been popularized in China.So homeschooling is developing tardily in China.Until the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China issued a notice in 2017 that forhibiting homeschooling,the situation of homeschooling in our country has become even more difficult.This research is analyzing the related materials about homeschooling in America and China,understanding the history and status about homeschooling in the two countries,and exploring the theoretical basis of homeschooling in China.This study investigated several cases,of students who had already studied at home or were preparing to attend home,focusing on observations and interviews with children at home.By learned about the specific circumstance,the writer discovered that homeschooling has advantages to children,families and countries.Of course,there are also many deficiencies in homeschooling.This study has also explored its existing problems and put forward rationalization proposals.Through analysis of literature and research,the author believes that homeschooling is a manifestation of education popularization,and its existence and development are reasonable.But there still have some difficulties to develop homeschooling in China,and doesn't have impeccable conditions.Only by solving these difficulties,can homeschooling develop faster in China.
