A Comparative Study On The Measurement Of Implicit Political Trust In College Graduate Students And Its Explicit Political Trust

Political trust is the source of power to promote the good operation of a country's political power and give the natural legitimacy of the political system procedure.With the development of modernization of China's political and social media era,especially the wide extension of network information society,the ability of citizens to obtain all kinds of information increasing,breaking the traditional political pattern in Pyramid,the formation of multigovernance trends at the same time,also make the citizen political trust from external threats to the environment to a certain extent.Among them,college students,as the mainstay of the nation's future construction,are also more likely to accept external information and their influence.The construction of their political trust can not be ignored.At present,China's research on political trust of college students has been a lot of research results,but it focuses on college students.As China's social and economic development,education popularization and employment situation change,postgraduate groups are becoming more and more common and growing stronger than before.Therefore,the political trust research of this group should be taken seriously.In addition,in the research method,the research of political trust is usually based on the previous questionnaire measured the explicit method,but this method has some limitations in the measurement of political trust in the sensitive topic,vulnerable to social desirability,personal introspection can influence restrictions and other factors,resulting in data the survey is only about the respondents' explicit attitude,there may be some deviation,and the real attitude so in the field reference implicit methods are implicit attitude measurement is necessary.To sum up,100 graduate students in Southwest JiaoTong University were investigated by using the single category implicit association test in psychology and the traditional questionnaire survey.The last results are,first,postgraduates have positive political trust in explici t attitude or implicit attitude,but the level of political trust is relatively low.Second,by com paring the implicit attitude and explicit attitude of the sample,we find that the identity of gra duate Party members will have an impact on the expression of political trust,which leads to explicit trust is significantly higher than implicit trust,which further proves the influence of social desirability on measurement reliability.Third,the implicit attitude of political trust is not related to explicit attitude.They are separated from each other,and further prove the nec essity of using implicit method to measure from the perspective of attitude segregation.
