With the continuous development of quality education,people pay more and more attention to education.And the mental health education is playing an important role in modem education,especially in the cultivation of high-quality talents with both ability and political integrity.In the 21st century,education is developing rapidly.As a special social group,mental health level of college students not only affect their own growth,but also related to the national construction personnel training quality problems.Therefore,we should not only pay attention to the theoretical knowledge but also to the psychological quality of college students education.Only by guaranteeing the positive and healthy psychology of college students can they promote social construction and promote the development of the country.Education is an important measure to help college students maintain a healthy and relatively balanced mental state,as well as stablishing and improving the quality of personality The psychological quality of college students is an important part of the individual comprehensive quality of contemporary youth.Therefore,all countries attach great importance to the psychological health of college students.However,the mental health of college students in China has lagged behind the development pace of modern society and education.There are great differences between Chinese and American college students’ mental health education in terms of teaching staff,content and implementation approaches.From the current level of psychological health education in colleges and universities,the rapid development has made certain achievements,but problems including the lack of awareness,single education channel,inadequate education pertinence and low specialization level still exist in mental health education in colleges.The education experience of American colleges and universities has certain reference significance to the development of education in Chinese universities.This paper mainly used the literature method and comparative method,based on comparing the current situation of college students’ mental health education in China and the United States,puts forward the countermeasures to improve the level of mental health education in colleges and universities,thus promote the development of college students’ mental health education in our country.We hope to provide support and help for the improvement of education.
