MPCK is the core knowledge for the development of math teachers,An excellent primary school math teacher not only needs mathematics content knowledge,but also needs abundant mathematics pedagogical content knowledge.The development of MPCK includes two stages,one is for pre-service,the other is for post-service.Local colleges are the important places for cultivating normal university students(NUS).Whether the NUS have mastered enough MPCK or not at school is a hot issue that the researchers and teachers are very concerning.In this study,I aimed at investigating the MPCK current situation of NUS majoring primary school education,providing the basis on innovating the curriculum design for NUS majoring primary school education,and also providing some references for teachers' education and training among colleges of primary education.This research is using the knowledge of ratio and proportion in primary school as the testing content,taking the documentary method,questionnaire method,interviewing method and so on to investigate 138 fourth and fifth years normal university students in Pingxiang university to see the current situation of MPCK they already mastered and the degree of how important the sources come from.The results as following:(1)The NUS majoring elementary education haven't mastered the mathematics knowledge(MK)solidly;(2)The NUS majoring primary school education have limited pedagogical knowledge(PK);(3)The NUS majoring primary school education are lack of curriculum knowledge(CK)about the students;(4)The students' MPCK of primary school education in fifth year are better than the ones in fourth year;(5)The most important sources are the experiences when they were in the primary school and educational practice.The less important sources are mathematics education curriculum learned at school,the experiences from communicating with teachers and classmates and contacting with primary and secondary students(like tutoring),the pedagogy curriculum learning,teaching experiences by oneself and self-reflection,the least important sources are reading related books about primary and secondary education,watching high-quality teaching videos,In addition,I put forward five suggestions as follow:(1)improve personnel cultivating program,built “practice+” application system;(2)focus on educational probation and the link of educational practice,bring the cooperation between schools training mode to the best;(3)enhance the sense of self-efficiency and cultivate the sense of teaching efficiency for NUS;(4)take full advantage of spare time to strengthen the practice of teaching skills;(5)try to use reversal classroom pattern,analyze the typical teaching case.
