The number of migrant children is increasing with the continuous development of urbanization and the acceleration of its process;they come with their parents to unfamiliar cities and are faced many problems and challenges,which put forward new requirements for all aspects of migrant children's abilities.In this context,based on the theory of social work,the paper analyzes the status quo of ability dissipation in migrant children with reference to professional skills and methods of social work,and it designs targeted projects and activities on the basis of requirement evaluation to manage the capacity building for migrant children and adds to their abilities.In this paper,27 migrant children in Jialing Road Community,Nankai District,Tianjin are taken as research objects,and the status quo of ability dissipation in migrant children is observed in the preliminary stage,including interpersonal skills such as hands-on ability,selfcognition ability,peer group communication ability and parent-child interaction ability in order to explore the needs of migrant children's capacity building.On the premise of requirement evaluation,"Navigation for dandelion--project of capacity building for migrant children"(T project for short)is schemed;then it is carried out concretely with professional methods and skills of social work adopted to help migrant children in capacity-building and increase their ability.Finally,the implementation status and effect of the project are evaluated to inspect the positive promoting effect of social work on migrant children's ability improvement.The effectiveness of T project is taken as an example to serve as reference in the capacity building of migrant children in society and provide some practical experience and practical information for future research.
