It has been eight years since the first Taiyuan International Marathon was held in 2010.Only 8,000 athletes participated in the first Taiyuan International Marathon,and the scale of the 7th event has reached 30,000.Due to the large number of applicants,the entry mode started the online registration and drawing mode.In 2017,Taiyuan International Marathon brought together 26 invited athletes from 7 countries and 30,000 runners from more than 10 provinces and cities to share the sporting event.As the marathon is a mass project with a wide audience,marathon brings people various benefits and some accidents.This article conducts in-depth investigations and studies on marathon amateurs to identify their motives for participating in marathon sports and the limitation involved in marathon.Based on these studies,this article provides scientific and reasonable suggestions for further development of Taiyuan International Marathon,and also provides Marathon amateurs with theoretical basis of scientific fitness.The objective of the suggestions is to promote the wide development of national fitness activities,speed up the construction of a sports power,and finally realize the Chinese dream.This article uses the methods of literature materials,interviews,and questionnaires to investigate and analyze the status of marathon amateurs participating in Taiyuan International Marathon,and draws the following conclusions:1.In recent years,the number of participants of Taiyuan International Marathon has been increasing year by year.Among participants,young adults,employees and workers are the main player.2.The transmission route of Taiyuan International Marathon is dominated by friendsand the Internet.Most amateurs prefer to participate in a half-marathon.3.The marathon amateurs’ method and the location of the training are reasonable,but the time of training is not reasonable,which is related to their working hours.4.Sports injuries caused by unscientific training and guidance have become the most important factor that limits amateur participating in marathon training and competition.5.Marathon amateurs believe that participating in a marathon can not only maintain good health,improve heart and lung function,shape and develop good habits and a healthy lifestyle,but also can strengthen willpower,regulate emotions,and improve their physical fitness.6.According to the investigation and study of Marathon amateurs in Taiyuan International Marathon,there are some suggestions to promote the development of the marathon: increase the corresponding transmission route;increase the degree of attention of leaders;carry out scientific training;increase sports knowledge and injury protection knowledge,etc.It is hoped that we can better improve the enthusiasm of the people for participating in the marathon and finally promote the development of the marathon. |
