With the continuous development of economy and society of our country,the higher education is getting increasingly popularized as well.In order to improve the level of education,expand new space for educational development as well as enrich educational resources,more and more colleges and universities are carrying out multi-campus university practice by merging or building new campuses.To some extent,it has integrated educational resources and made up for the lack of educational resources.However,due to the differences in regional characteristics,historical significance and cultural heritage among campuses,it brings many problems and challenges to the adaptive education for freshmen.As an important part of the ideological and political education of college students,adaptive education for freshmen has a significant effect on their development.Therefore,it has gained increasing concentration from colleges and universities,and made some achievements.But there still are some problems.Exampled by several multi-campus universities and colleges in Gannan area,this paper summarizes the main problems and analyzes the reasons,putting forward some effective suggestions to improve adaptive education for freshmen in multi-campus universities and colleges.This paper consists of six parts.In the first part,it mainly introduces the research backgrounds,significance,methods and so on.Besides,it describes the domestic and external research situations about student management as well as the implementation of adaptive education for freshmen in multi-campus universities.In the second part,it mainly tells the background of formation and the modes as well as characteristics of the multi-campus university in our county,defining the connotation and clarifying the sense of adaptive education in multi-campus universities.In the third part,it analyzes the status quo of freshmen inadaptability,such as being not fit to the student-management mode,study and living environment as well as interpersonal communication and so on.Meanwhile,it summarizes the main problems existing in the process of adaptive education for freshmen in multi-campus universities.In the fourth part,it mainly analyzes the reasons why there are so many problems from three factors.In the fifth part,which is the most important part of the paper,based on the problems and reasons which have been referred above,it puts forward the general idea on improving the effectiveness of adaptive education for freshmen in multi-campus universities,scientifically following the principles,establishing content system,planning the education stages reasonably,exploring the new ways and sounding the guarantee mechanism and so on.The sixth part is the conclusion of the paper.It mainly concludes the contents of the research and puts forward outlook for the future research.
