As we all know,composition teaching is an indispensable part of language teaching.Writing is not only the basic measure of Chinese literacy,but also an important way to communicate with people.For junior high school students,to cultivate their expressive ability and thinking ability,it is necessary to pay attention to the improvement of composition teaching methods and the improvement of effectiveness.At the end of the 20 th century and the beginning of the 21 st century,the Internet was rapidly popularized,and popular culture ushered in an era of flourishing and even flooding.Its simple,fashionable,and independent.Making the junior high school students who are in adolescence became crazy and infatuated.and writing as a direct reflection of the idea of junior high school students,,is undoubtedly affected by popular culture.It is undeniable that popular culture includes positive zeitgeist,progressive modern consciousness and new values,which may have a beneficial effect on junior high school students.Meanwhile popular culture shows blundering,superficial,extravagant and other culture,tend to confused junior high school students in the period,and had some negative influences.Due to the influence of popular culture,junior high school students had some problems in conceptual design,emotional expression,narrative style,and language style,which made composition teaching face unprecedented challenges.This paper guided by the junior middle school Chinese course standard,and focuses on the influence of popular culture on middle school students’ composition.It also focuses on the problems found in junior high school students’ writing practice and starts the countermeasures on this basis.The popular culture involved in this topic includes four categories:popular songs,popular language,popular movies,and popular novels.The full text is divided into five parts:The introduction is a general summary of related literature.Based on this,it states the reason,purpose and significance of the selected topic of this paper,and briefly introduces the main research methods.The second chapter defines the related concepts of popular culture,and then carries out a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the questionnaire to understand the situation of junior middle school students writing under the influence of popular culture and the status of teacher teaching,and to explore the problems faced by popular culture in junior middle school composition teaching.The third chapter discusses the advantages and disadvantages of popularculture for junior middle school students from the perspective of reality.Positive influences are based on the influence of positive thoughts,material enrichment,and technical innovation.Negative influences are analyzed from the perspectives of misleading values,non-standard terms,and spurious content three aspects carries on the analysis and simple explanations of the negative influence of popular culture.The fourth chapter is the strategic suggestion section.Based on the pros and cons analysis and related reasons explained before,the solution to the problem is discussed from the theoretical and practical perspectives.The purpose is to make the popular culture "take the essence and discard the dregs" and advance with the times.Looking for effective composition teaching strategies.
