This study is to put the virtual reality technology and the junior middle school geography teaching link,use the VR head-mounted device to discuss the research of this technology in the teaching of geography teaching effect,by integrating resources for teaching design for junior high school geography teachers teaching using virtual reality technology provides the certain reference.Mainly in the early stage of the design case of using the literature research to past geography classroom case analysis,put forward problems,interviews with teachers and students,analysis the necessity and feasibility,and puts forward the VR on the selection of resources should follow the appropriateness,applicability,academic and scientific principles,undertake to the student in the classroom observation,in the case teaching practice after the student to carry on the questionnaire survey,combined with the students' feedback on case analysis,and evaluation.Combined with junior high school geography book1&book 2 grade seven content in teaching practice,through observation,interview and questionnaire analysis,the VR devices into geography subject teaching process concludes:(1)using VR virtual reality head-mounted device will be used in geography class to a certain extent,improve the students' learning interest,conducive to the construction of student to the knowledge and the ability to make students better master knowledge.(2)The introduction of virtual reality technology into geography teaching classroom is very helpful for students to enhance their interest in learning geography.Students' classroom participation will also improve.(3)As for some abstract knowledge,students can also understand and absorb it,and achieve the expected teaching effect in practice.In the teaching practice,it can also be seen that virtual reality technology and junior middle school geography combined with the teaching practice is valuable.The deficiency existing in this research is: in this paper,the design of the virtual reality scene when combined with geography teaching is relatively shallow discussion,by immersion of virtual reality devices built also deserves further exploration.In the process of teaching,we only observe students' interest in learning in class and their experience in class,but do not pay attention to the application of knowledge points in specific practice.
