Family education is the most widely used and basic education.It is of great significance in promoting individual growth,family happiness,and social progress.However,with the development of the economy and the exacerbation of labor mobility,a large number of migrant workers go to work and do business in cities.The children of those migrant workers are left behind in the countryside.As a result,the family education necessary for those left-behind children is missing,which has produced serious problems.Children's education is the common responsibility of society,family and school.The family is the first and most direct place of socialization for children.As children's first teachers,parents and their concept and manner in educating their children have the most important influence on children's development.This paper analyzes the present situation and the existing problems of family education of left-behind children and then puts forward the corresponding solutions.This paper is divided into the following five parts: the first part mainly includes the basis of research topic selection,the purpose and significance of the research,the current situation of the research at home and abroad,and research methods,etc;the second part elaborates mainly about some research on the left-behind children,the concept and characteristics of family education of the left-behind children in rural areas;the third part introduces in detail the situation of left-behind children and their family education in Mianyang;the fourth part focuses on the main problems and the causes of these problems in the family education of the left-behind children in rural areas in Mianyang;and finally,the author puts forward some tentative solutions from the aspects of family,school,government and society respectively in the fifth part.
