With the development of modern technology,educational reforms appear successively.Flipped classroom mode is one of the most representative ones.Flipped classroom mode comes from the USA which was introduced to China soon.It has got great teaching efficiency and is accepted by most teachers both in the US and China.It also has applicability in teaching Chinese for children.This paper is based on the theories of children's psychology,children's learning style and flipped classroom mode.After the teaching practice for a whole semester,it has got a lot of practical experience on the application of flipped classroom in teaching Chinese for children and has made some advice on how to improve this teaching mode.It aims to provide some help for the teachers in Chinese teaching area.The first chapter is the introduction part,which introduces the reasons and purpose of the subject,determines the research methods and ideas and does research on the current application situation of flipped classroom mode.It determines the research objects on the basis of flipped classroom teaching theories.The second chapter details the basic theories on the application of flipped classroom in teaching Chinese for children which includes children's psychology and children's learning style.It also details the applicability in teaching Chinese for children.The third chapter explains the details of the flipped classroom design,including how the pre-class teaching videos,the self-study mission are made and the internalizing process of knowledge in class.The fourth chapter is the analysis of reflections after the teaching practice including the completion of pre-class learning mission,the using situation of pre-class teaching videos,the completing situation of in-class activities and the evaluation of flipped classroom mode.The fifth chapter is the advice of teaching improvement based on the teaching reflection on how to make pre-class teaching videos,self-study mission and the design of class activities.
