In this paper,two middle schools are selected as the main research places,one outstanding old geography teacher and one new geography teacher who have just graduated as the research object,so as to carry on the exploration research in the light of the needs of geography teaching.The purpose is to clarify the formation mechanism of the practice knowledge of geography teaching,explore the promotion strategy of the practice knowledge of geography teaching,and provide experience reference for the development of new geography teachers.Accelerate the growth rate of new geography teachers and be qualified for geography teachers as soon as possible.The research is divided into five parts:The first part is to summarize the concept content and characteristics of the knowledge of geography teaching practice.In the second part,through with two teachers‘observation and in-depth interviews were carried out to explore the characteristics and formation path of the practical knowledge of geography teaching.The third part is to find out the effect of geography teaching practice knowLedge on teaching practice through classroom comparison.In the fourth part,through questionnaire and interview,the author finds out the perplexity of novice geography teacher and Lesson of old geography teacher.The fifth part mainly discusses the strategies to promote the geography teachers and teaching practice knowledge.Based on the case study,This article explore the geography teaching practice knowledge through case comparison.In addition,the way of questionnaire interview is to further study the growth of geography teachers.The research shows that the practical knowledge of geography teaching is closely related to daily life,reading,traveling,teaching,learning and reflection;The effective ways to improve the practical knowledge of geography teaching are: accumulation and daily teaching,optimization of teaching reflection,innovation and bold attempt.
