| The “Reading Guide to Masterworks” is an important module in the high school Chinese experiment textbook,published by People’s Education Press(2nd edition2007),which is intended for arousing high school students’ interest in reading and cultivate students’ good reading habits.But influenced by the high school students’ academic pressure and the fragmentation reading and so on,its effect is not very ideal in practice.At present,a lot of relevant research is based on the teaching level.However,the fact is that under various factors such as the college entrance examination,teachers rarely lead students to read classics in class.Therefore,it is more practical to strengthen the interest of its complication to guide students to actively read the classics after class.Therefore,this paper studies high school Chinese textbook from the point of its complication and uses the theory of reception aesthetics to enrich the content of this module in order to attract students’ reading interest.In this paper,three chapters are used to study some problems and strategies in the compilation of the “Reading Guide to Masterworks” in senior high Chinese textbooks from People’s Education Press.The first chapter mainly introduces the complication situation of the compulsory textbooks in People’s Education Press edition.It first introduces the advantages of the“Reading Guide to Masterworks” by analyzing its structure,text-selection system and guiding ideology.Then,it uses specific examples to make a detailed discussion on some problems such as the stereotype of the content,the unapparent guiding of the individualized reading and the absence of interest and so on.Then it draws the conclusion that its complication needs further improvement.The second chapter mainly analyzes the guiding value of reception aesthetics in the complication of the “Reading Guide to Masterworks”.Firstly,it introduces the main viewpoints of reception aesthetics,which are "reader-centered theory",horizon of expectation,appealing structure and dialogue-communication theory.Then it explains the main viewpoints of reception aesthetics and the connection between it and the “Reading Guide to Masterworks” and concludes that it is important to usereception aesthetics to guide the complication of the “Reading Guide to Masterworks”.The third chapter mainly introduces the improved strategies of the complication of the “Reading Guide to Masterworks” in the view of reception aesthetics.It connects the theory of reception aesthetics with the compilation of the “Reading Guide to Masterworks”,and puts forward three suggestions to further improve this module.The first suggestion is to use the horizon of expectation to improve students’ Chinese core accomplishment.The second one is to guide students to do individualized interpretation by using the appealing structure.The third one is to use dialogue-communication theory to cultivate students’ interest in the classics.There are specific suggestions following each strategy,and detailed explanations which are made with specific examples.It is hoped that the above research can help to improve the complication of“Reading Guide to Masterworks”,so as to stimulate students’ reading interest and improve their literary and artistic accomplishment. |
