The 2017 edition of the new curriculum standard for high school geography is centered around the core literacy of geography.Geographical literacy covers geographical thinking,geographical methods and geographical quality.Geographical core literacy derives from geographical thinking,reflecting the characteristics of geography.The thought and method of geography is the core and essence of geography,and its implementation and cultivation are of great significance to the promotion of new curriculum reform in high school.In this paper,the author analyzes the composition of the geography thought and method in the textbook.The main contents of this article are as follows: firstly,the concept and method of geography are defined from two aspects of connotation and extension,and the present situation of the study of geography thought and method is summarized by using literature method and summarizes the induction.The second is the analysis of the geography thought and method contained in the new curriculum standard of 2017;The third is the analysis of the four geographical thoughts and the three geographical methods which are extracted from the teaching materials by using the textbook thematic analysis method and the statistical analysis method.And the relationship between the ideas and methods of geography is analyzed.The fourth is to compare the geography ideas and methods that are required by the course standard and the teaching materials,and summarize the characteristics of the geography thought and method in the teaching materials.The fifth is to make suggestions for the revision of teaching materials.The basic conclusion of this article is:The geography thought mainly includes the human land relation thought,the regional thought,the comprehensive thought,the dynamic thought;The geographical methods are divided into three categories: one is the method of obtaining geographical information,including the geographical survey method,the literature data method,the experimental method,the remote sensing technology,the global positioning system;The second is the method of analyzing geographical information,including logic,mathematical statistics and geographic information system.The third is the way to express geographic information,including chart method and descriptive method.There are uneven distribution of ideas and methods in geography textbooks.And there is a lack of dynamic thinking and and the idea of man land relationship are not in place;The logic method takes the lead in teaching materials,and the proportion of practice and modern information technology is small.The choice of the thought guidance method,the application of the method penetrates the thought.In view of these characteristics,the new teaching materials should pay attention to the geographical thoughts and methods.The content of the textbook should perfect the main points of the human relation thought;Appropriately increase the design of geographical practice law,and pay more attention to the use of modern geographic technology methods to obtain information;Pay attention to the relation between thought and method,provide the method guidance of thought. |
