The paper is based on Compulsory Education Mathematics Curriculum Standard(2011)and the relationship among mathematical thought,mathematical method and mathematical knowledge.Through the teaching task analysis and case design,the paper tries to solve the practical problem in teaching of mathematics thoughts and methods,thus realizing the value of mathematical thought and method.The author uses the literature review method,based on the existing research results,supplemented with the questionnaire survey method and case analysis method to carry on the project research from two aspects of theory and practice.In theory,the connotation and significance of mathematical thoughts and methods are expounded.In this way,the important mathematical thoughts and methods of junior high school(transformation,combination of number and shape,classified discussion,equation,specific-to-general)are deeply analyzed.In practice,through the investigation and typical teaching case studies,found the problem first,then summed up the strategies for teaching mathematical thoughts and methods in junior high school,and the principles need to adhere to while teaching.The study found that most teachers and students despise the mathematical thoughts and method,and the students have no systematic basis when solving mathematical problems,and the corresponding between problems and methods is not obvious.Teaching mathematical thoughts and methods reasonably can improve students' test scores to a certain extent and improve students' interest in mathematics.And it can also improve students' satisfaction with teaching methods,develop students' independence and autonomy in completing their assignments and deepen students' understanding of mathematics knowledge.Therefore,the teaching of mathematics thoughts and methods should be strengthened.On the one hand,it should follow the principles of participation,gradual progress,converting implicitness into explicitness,and systematization.On the other hand,paying attention to the all-round infiltration of mathematics thought,not only induction and reorganization of methods and thoughts in the classroom,but also a penetration after the daily teaching progress,to ensure that students understand mathematical thoughts and methods really.
