The Study Of The Application Of Local Historical Resources To High School History Teaching In Youxi

Local historical resources,as an important resource in the high school history teaching,are of great importance to promote the high school history teaching and study.Youxi in Fujian province is an ancient county with around 1,000 years of history,which is rich in resources of local history.The close integration of the local but existing history in Youxi and the history teaching in high school is of great benefit for high school students in Youxi to the understanding of their own hometown,and to enhance the effectiveness of teaching history in high school in Youxi.This paper based on the remaining historical resources of Youxi,the survey of the present situation of the application of local historical resources and the analysis of its underlying causes,the author puts forward two concrete schemes to explore how to apply local historical resources for high school history teaching,which are concerned with permeation teaching of high school history and the practice of fun-extra curriculum history classes.Also,the corresponding principles and recommendations on the application of local historical resources to high school teaching are followed.The author believes that,the effective application of local history resources in Youxi high school history curriculum,should focus on two aspects:First of all,in view of teaching method,it is not enough to merely penetrate local history in history class.The interesting activities of local history knowledge should be also carried out by making the best use of after-school time to arouse the students’ interest in learning history,enlarge their outlook of knowledge of history,and cultivate their entire ability of thinking in history.Secondly,from the user of sources of local history,in addition to active exploration for local history resources done by the teachers in high school,education authorities,including schools and students,even society should lay more stress on it and then provide help and support in practical teaching activity so as to promote the embodiment of practical value of teaching and studying local history resources in the process of high school history teaching.
