At the end of 2017,the official website of the ministry of education released the ordinary high school mathematics curriculum standard(2017 version)(shortened to the Curriculum Standard(2017 version)in the following)and put forward the six key competences of mathematics.In this paper,we have selected the "mathematical operation" in six key competences and compiled a set of test paper of triangle function based on the definition of mathematics operation and the three levels of mathematics operation.This study examined the two demonstrative high school students of senior three in Shijiazhuang.The purpose is to understand the present situation of the high school students' mathematical operation level.Through literature research,case analysis,questionnaire and teachers interview,we get the following conclusions:(1)The students who are can solve mathematical problems in familiar mathematical situations,that is,reach the level one of mathematical operation,occupy the majority of the students surveyed;(2)About half of the students can solve the problem in the related mathematical situation,that is,reach the level two of mathematical operation.(3)Few students can reach the level three of mathematical operation,which means that only a small number of students can solve mathematical problems correctly in a comprehensive mathematical situation.(4)A considerable number of students have various problems in the mathematical operation,such as,they can't correctly understand the operand,can't apply rule and formula flexibly,not clear operation thinking,design simple operation program and have computing problems.Level one should generally reach the standard of academic level.Level two should reach the standard of college entrance examination.Level three should reach the standard of independent enrollment.On the basis of these problems,the author put forward pertinent teaching suggestions from mathematical operation objects,operation idea,operation procedure and calculation ability.In the process of teaching,teachers also should improve students' mathematical operation level from the links of mathematical operation object,operation idea,operation procedure and calculation ability.In particular,(1)Being familiar with basic concepts and understanding mathematical operation objects;(2)Understanding the formula theorem andmastering the algorithm;(3)Looking at problems in multiple perspectives and exploring operational ideas flexibly;(4)Paying attention to answer step-by-step and designing reasonable operation procedures;(5)Improving the calculation ability and getting the correct calculation results;(6)Grasping the key competences macroscopically and improving the mathematical operation level.
