A Comparative Study On The College System Of Modern Universities

In recent years,the academy system of modern universities has attracted more and more attention.The modern college system is an educational system based on the management of students’ accommodation area,which draws lessons from the system of accommodation colleges in the western universities,and absorbs the spirit and tradition of the ancient academies in china.The basic way is to break the existing branch of student management model,implemented by the college system management professional college accommodation in student accommodation area,and promote the interdisciplinary,strengthen the function of informal education,to cultivate talents with all-round development.Chinese University of Hong Kong is the most successful university college system,under its influence,Taiwan has many colleges and universities to carry out the pilot reform,Fudan University,Xi’an Jiao Tong University,East China Normal University,China carried out reform.On the whole,the reform of universities in Taiwan has achieved better results,and the reform of universities in the mainland is much inferior.The modern university college system construction includes three main aspects:one is the learning community,the college student accommodation build a learning community(environment,construction);two is in the education of the whole person or the concept of general education,to carry out a wide range of second courses(college education);the three is to explore the establishment of tutor for good,this is the western residential college experience,is China’s Ancient Academy tradition.The establishment of Modern University College system is a system innovation,will have a great impact on the University’s existing management system,the system based on different school idea and different running conditions are different,the college system in the practice of Taiwan colleges and the universities in mainland China,there are two different situation.The establishment of the academy system of modern universities in China is a far-reaching reform,which is related to the cultivation of the"no".Therefore,the relevant problems must be studied seriously and deeply.This article is based on this,using the basic principles and methods of management,education,psychology and other disciplines to systematically study the related issues.In China through the analysis and comparison on both sides of the four university college system,the problems in-depth study of pilot University College system,combined with the characteristics of Taiwan University College system implementation,provide some theoretical guidance for China’s mainland universities college system reform.This paper is divided into four parts.Firstly,it clarifies the concept of college and the college system,analyzes the characteristics of the college system;then through summarizing the type of China on both sides of the college system in National Taiwan University,and the college system as an example,through the analysis and investigation,combing the training objectives and training system,analysis Taiwan college system in the implementation of features.On the basis of the mainland of China Academy for free the difficulties and shortcomings,aiming at the existing problems,the core value of college system as the basis,with the related theories as the support,from the culture,management,tutor,its characteristics,service learning in five aspects to put forward some suitable for mainland China University College System Construction strategy.
