Abstract/Summary:
On the basis of fully studying the theory of Krashen’s input and the present situation of English teaching in northeast rural middle school,the author takes the theory as the guide based on facts,and explore the feasibility of applying the input theory in English writing class of the rural middle school from the perspective of language input.The innovation of this paper is to focus on the Krashen’s input theory to guide the specific practical operation of the teaching,and give some practical suggestions for the teaching of English writing.The main purpose of this study is to guide the teaching practice through input theory,to improve the level of English writing in rural middle schools,to increase students’ interest in English learning,to optimize the quality of classroom teaching,to enhance the comprehensive ability of students’ English learning,and to provide experience and reference for rural middle schools with similar status.This study takes the eighth grade students of “LiZhi National middle school” in Fuyu County of Heilongjiang Province as the research object,and uses the literature research method,the observation method,the interview method and the experimental method to do the empirical research,and our research shows that the Krashen’s input theory can guide the students’ English writing in rural middle school,can increase students’ interest in English learning,can create good atmosphere,also confirm that Krashen’s input theory is of great significance to reform rural English teaching method and improve the quality of rural English teaching.The whole article is divided into five parts.The first chapter elaborates the background,purpose and significance of the research;The second chapter summarizes the current research status of the input theory’s applying in English teaching;And the third chapter is the empirical study,the author draws to conclusion by the contrasting the data;The fourth chapter comes to the inspiration based on experimental results.Finally,the conclusion part pointed out the research content,results,innovation,as well as the shortcomings and prospects for the future of this study,and pointed out the future research direction.In addition,the writer also put forward some of the following inspirations on input theory in teaching of writing in rural middle school through the empirical study: 1.Increase the quantity and quality of reading,increase the number of writing;2.Consolidate the vocabulary collocation in the class,increase proper amount of comprehensible extracurricular vocabulary;3.Explain the relevant extracurricular reading knowledge,writing themes close to rural students;4.Cultivate students’ interest in writing,establish confidence in learning English;5.Establish a good classroom atmosphere,improve the quality of language input.The above suggestions will not only improve the level of rural students in English writing,but also increase interest in English learning and enhance the overall level of English.
