The physical health situation of adolescent students is directly related to national quality,and also one of the important indicators to measure national comprehensive strength.In terms of present work of physical quality promotion,it is urgent to develop the process evaluation method and evaluation standard.National Student Physical Health Standard(revised in 2014)(hereinafter referred to as National Standard)focuses on uniformity and standardization,which inevitably fails to take ethnic and regional characteristics into account.Nevertheless,students in Liaoning province outperform the national average level with regard to physical quality,so deviations will occur if the National Standard is used to evaluate students in Liaoning province.The study has made a set of groups according to age and gender and developed the evaluation standard of regional physical quality suitable for students in Liaoning province.The research can effectively promote students to participate in physical activities,thus improving students' physical quality and offering reference to decision making for government and the development of physical education in schools.Taking test data of physical quality of Liaoning students in 2015 as research object,the study has randomly extracted the data of 35,715 students as samples to formulate regional standard:Physical Quality Evaluation Standard of Middle and Elementary School Students in Liaoning Province(hereinafter referred to as Regional Standard)grouped according to age and gender based on the percentile method.Physical quality test data of 53,626 students from Liaoning province in2014 have been utilized as samples to validate the Regional Standard.The results are as follows:1.Students' physical quality varies in different regions.Liaoning province students outperform the national average level in terms of physical quality.2.Students of different ages in same grade account for 1/3.It is necessary to establish a physical quality evaluation standard grouped in age.3.The study has set up Physical Quality Evaluation Standard of Middle and Elementary School Students in Liaoning Province adopting the method of National Standard.However,the Regional Standard is more demanding in flexibility quality,physical coordination and dexterity quality,while less demanding in muscle endurance,speed and stamina quality,as well as higher in terms of BMI standard value compared with National Standard.4.The validation result of Regional Standard on the basis of samples in 2014 has preliminarilyproved the good regional applicability of it,so further validation and small-scale trial application could be conducted.
