Since 2001,the state promulgated the “music curriculum standards of full-time compulsory education(trial version)”,China began a vigorous reform of basic music education.Since then,the quality of education has been put on the agenda,and music lessons as a important part for basis curriculum,has also been unprecedented attention.Through more than ten years constant exploration and practice,from who students to parents,teachers to principals,the education authorities,music curriculum standards(trial version)has been widely verified and repeat screened,and music curriculum reform,which has obtained the general approval and support,has achieved significant results.However,the content,objectives and requirements of music curriculum standards also need to be further optimized and improved.In this vigorous curriculum reform,there are different situations between underdeveloped regions and developed regions,which the strength and effectiveness of the reform is great gap.Why is there such a phenomenon? Where is the gap between developed regions and underdeveloped regions? How to bridge this gap? Given these problems,this paper will study the basic music education of Ganzhou,Jiangxi,which through an objective investigation to more fully demonstrating the situation of basic music education in area of Ganzhou,Jiangxi,to exploring some deep-seated problems behind the current situations of Ganzhou's basic music education,to puting forward constructive directions and measures based on scientific research.Firstly,by random sampling,choosing fourteen primary and secondary schools from Zhanggong,Shangyou,Yudu,Ningdu,Ruijin County of Ganzhou,Jiangxi as surveyed objects which respondents included leadership,music teachers and students of schools,contents included the teacher preparation,the structure and professionalism of teachers,the situation of teaching equipment,teaching content,teaching management and evaluation,economic cost in school music education,the curriculum,teachers' continuing education situation,teachers' teaching and research,the student's mastery of musical skills,extracurricular activities,etc.Meanwhile,the paper follows closely regional characteristics,takes “Several measures to supporting the revitalization plan of Gannan and other former Soviet Central” and implementation of the education reform as a entry point,based on the economic underdevelopment of Ganzhou regional,red Soviet culture,and traditions Hakka culture,by comparing differences to find the cruxs and the problems of regional basic music education,thereby exploring targeted and operable ideas of reform.
