Abstract/Summary:
General high school education,serving as a link between compulsory education and university education,a basic education to common public and also a wisdom tool for universities,is playing a double role of employment and further education.High school teachers,as a main part of high school education,determinate the quality of high school education.Therefore,the improvement of high school teachers education background has its privilege.Teachers’ performance evaluation is an important mean to manage the teachers’ group and improve the teachers’ quality.Scientific and rational teachers’ performance evaluation system can lead teachers to work positively,teach seriously and improve themselves.Then the whole school progress can be prompted.But considering that the high school teacher profession is particular and that the study of teachers’ performance evaluation in China is just starting,not only the theoretical system but also empirical research faces deficiency.This article summarized the relevant theoretical basis and existing research results of the teachers’ performance evaluation.Combing the specific conditions of Gaobeidian No.1 high school where the writer works,the writer summarized the problems existing in the general senior high school teachers’ performance evaluation.On the basis of a large number of literature,questionnaires and interviews,combing the characteristics of the high school teachers,the writer used Key Performance Indicator to design the indices of high school teachers’ performance evaluation.Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)is used to determine the index weight.Then constructing an evaluation system which is targeted,scientific and operable.This system can supplement the theory about high school teachers’ performance evaluation,and it also can be used as reference when mass high schools put teachers’ performance evaluation into practice.
