Confucius,the great educator of our country,is the first one to promote teaching students in different ways.He holds that it is necessary to adopt different teaching methods according to the cognitive level of different students,learning ability and students’ physical and mental development.Nowadays,the history curriculum standard outline in high school is unified.However,students grows up in different geographical environment and historical,cultural conditions,which requires high school history teaching should add some contents about local native history.Local native history is well known to students,so it can help change the distance of history teaching space.Therefore it will shorten the distance of time in history.It is meaningful to assist students to master the knowledge of teaching materials more easily.It can also help them to better understand their own hometown history and local culture,to improve their emotion towards their hometown,inheriting the traditional culture of hometown,which can cultivate the students’ patriotic feelings.Ganzhou region has a bright history and culture,rich local resources.Therefore,with the assistance of new curriculum concept,the author has written down the teaching materials of history in high school with the characteristics of Ganzhou region.It is worthwhile to promote the Ganzhou high school history teaching research.The main contents of this paper are as follows: The first chapter mainly defines the concept of local teaching materials,and it also introduces the significance of the topic,the research status and the methods adopted in the paper.The main contents of the second chapter are the analysis of the necessity and possibility of writing the teaching materials of history with local characteristics.The third chapter is mainly explaining the writing principle of the local history teaching material.The fourth chapter are the contents of the local history teaching materials finished by the author,which mainly includes the regional division of Ganzhou area,the unique Ganzhou culture,the historical celebrities and historical sites of Ganzhou area,the ancient imperial examinations and education in Ganzhou area,the red hometown Ganzhou and Ganzhou specialties.The fifth chapter is about the principles of the teaching materials used in history teaching and introduces how to combine the local teaching materials with the high school history teaching in Ganzhou area.
