On Identification Of Social Responsibility Of Private Universities

With the continuous development and progress of society,higher education plays an important role in many fields such as politics,economy and culture.As an important part of higher education,private colleges have developed rapidly in recent years.On the one hand,it is an important role that can not be neglected in the construction of social development and application education system in our country.On the other hand,the social responsibility of the private colleges and universities,However,due to the imperfection of the policy and legal system,the defects of the internal governance structure of the school and the lack of sound supervision system,some private colleges are eager to pursue economic interests,weak social responsibility,passive responsibility and low social reputation,which became the bottleneck of private universities.Although the problem of social responsibility of private colleges and universities has aroused the concern of academia in recent years,it is still lagging behind in the definition,positioning and system construction of social responsibility in private colleges and universities.Based on this,this paper takes the social responsibility of private colleges as the object of study,first of all from the definition of the connotation of social responsibility of private colleges and universities,and then analyzes the typical cases of social responsibility management of private colleges and universities at home and abroad.Finally,through the development of social responsibility which should guide the private colleges and universities to correctly understand the social responsibility,supervise,encourage and supervise the role of social responsibility,so as to promote the flexible and free,diversified and scientific sustainable development of private colleges and universities.This study mainly includes the following five aspects:(1)Definition of social responsibility connotation of private colleges and universities;(2)Cross-case analysis of social responsibility of private universities in China;(3)Decoding global social responsibility practice of private colleges;(4)Comprehensive analysis with content analysis Key elements;(5)Analyzing the current situation and existing problems of the social responsibility of private colleges and universities in China,and putting forward reasonable proposals.The conclusions of this study are as follows: From the macroscopic point of view,private colleges and universities include five basic social responsibility elements: talent cultivation,scientific research,social service,cultural inheritance and social and economic responsibility.However,at the level of fulfillment,the social responsibility of private universities in our country is more focused than the public universities and foreign private colleges with strong overall strength.The social responsibility areas are mainly focused on the regional and sustainable development of the campus.Public universities and foreign private colleges have a broader view of their responsibilities,and their responsibilities are more abundant.The areas of performance are more comprehensive and the implementation methods are more diverse.Many public universities and private schools bear the international perspective of developing world-class universities.This is also worthy of the future of our private colleges and universities to learn from the aspects.
