Problem-based Learning(PBL)is based on constructivism.PBL advocates the starting point of the problem,the problem is the learning center,and the learning is set in the real and complex problem situation.Students through self-exploration and teamwork to solve practical problems,learn the underlying knowledge underlying the problem,and exercise the ability of students' problem-solving ability,self-learning ability and cooperative learning ability in this process.The education thoughts advocated by PBL has the same basic consistency with the new curriculum reform and quality education: let the students master the knowledge comprehensively,cultivate the students' interest in learning,thinking quality and consciousness of cooperation,form the habit of lifelong learning.PBL as a way of teaching and learning in the teaching process,combined with the characteristics of specific disciplines and curriculum contents,can provide some reference for elementary and middle schools in China.How to apply this way to the elementary school mathematics classroom,exert its function,is worth thinking about.This study focuses on how to use PBL effectively in primary school mathematics classroom.First of all,the paper analyzes the problems in the process of PBL in primary school mathematics teaching,then finds out the reason of the existence of these problems,and finally puts forward the strategy to solve these problems.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part introduces the background,purpose,meaning,present situation,core concept definition,as well as the research design and research method.The second part is the analysis of the necessity of using PBL in primary school mathematics classroom,which mainly includes the nature of the course and the requirements of the concept,and the characteristics of primary school students' mathematics learning are suitable for PBL.The third part is to investigate the current situation of PBL in primary school mathematics classroom by means of questionnaire,interview and classroom observation.It points out the existing problems: the design of learning problem is not placed in the student's recent development area.The effective guidance of students,teachers on the use of PBL teaching evaluation and reflection is not enough.The fourth part is the attribution of the existence problems of PBL applying in primary school mathematics classroom: the teacher's ability is difficult to meet the requirements of PBL,the traditional teaching idea influences the choice of teachers' teaching method,and the academic performance is the teacher's primary teaching evaluation.In the fifth part,according to the existed problems in the using of PBL in primary school mathematics classroom,the paper puts forward the solution strategies,which includes strengthening the teachers' school-based teaching and research,establishing the PBL mathematics teaching team and establishing the multi-teaching evaluation system.
