As an upsurging online teaching model,MOOC has rapidly overwhelmed the globe with its large-scale,open and online features,which has attracted a large number of learners around the world to take part in,but it also accompanies large amounts of dropouts,and the low completion rate of learners studying MOOC has become a ubiquitous problem that constrains the development of MOOC.How to improve the completion rate of college student autonomous learning MOOC has become a problem in urgent need of studying.At present,the domestic and foreign research on MOOC completion rate mainly focuses on the establishment of a single hypothesis,which lacks systematic analysis of all the influencing factors.This paper assesses college students’ autonomous learning MOOC in order to make research on the influencing factor model of MOOC low completion rate via theoretical analysis,and then through the online questionnaire to investigate the completion condition of MOOC in college students.In addition,the essay uses the method combining theoretical research and empirical research to take a profound research on the influencing factors that affect the low completion rate of college student autonomous learning MOOC and puts forward the corresponding solutions according to the survey results.In the first and the second chapter,it proposes the low completion rate problem of college student autonomous learning MOOC,and then analyzes the research current situation of college student autonomous learning MOOC at home and abroad,defines the core concept and analyzes the theoretical basis of this paper.In the third chapter,the author analyzes the influencing factors of MOOC low completion rate theoretically,including college students themselves,MOOC platform,MOOC curriculum resources and college MOOC policies,and finally establishes the influencing factor model of the low completion rate of college student autonomous learning MOOC.The questionnaire in fourth chapter is designed according to the influencing factors model of the low completion rate of college students’ autonomous learning MOOC.The questionnaire data is collected through online survey.With the descriptive analysis,correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis,this study found the positive correlation and regression relation between the completion rate of college students’ autonomous learning MOOC,college students themselves and university MOOC policy;the positive correlation between college students,MOOCplatform,MOOC curriculum resources and university MOOC policy.One conclusion is that the influencing factors model of the low completion rate of college students’ autonomous learning MOOC built in Chapter three is established.In the fifth chapter,on the basis of the results of the questionnaire analysis,the author puts forward some countermeasures to improve the completion rate of college students’ autonomous learning MOOC,the improvement suggestion is made on four aspects,respectively,college students,MOOC platform,MOOC course resource and university MOOC policy.
