Language has a close relationship with thinking.The cultivation of rational thinking in Chinese language teaching should emphasize the train of logical thinking among students,which is the key to construct Chinese knowledge system and promote Chinese language attainments.At the present stage,though Chinese teachers in middle schools possess high professionalism and strong teaching skills,they neglect the cultivation of students' logical thinking and find it hard to rationally and orderly impart the systemic Chinese knowledge to their students.Therefore,it is difficult for students to form systematic Chinese language system and improve their ability of logical thinking,which makes it challengeable to achieve the goal of fostering students' language accomplishments.Expository writing is vital in middle-school Chinese teaching.It not only shoulders the responsibility to improve students' ability to observe and understand things in life,but also carries the important task of training junior high school students' ability of logical thinking.Based on the current situation—Chinese teachers in middle school lack systematic knowledge of logic,from the perspective of teaching methods,it is necessary to grasp the logical characteristics of exposition teaching,help students better master exposition through scientific and reasonable teaching approaches and subtly breed the ability of junior high students to think logically in the process.The junior high school stage is a critical period in the development of students' cognitive psychology,and their abilities are gradually sprouting and shaping.This paper attempts to apply the new curriculum standards as the value guidance,starts from the conscious logical teaching methods of teachers and introduces the cultivation of logical thinking among junior students in exposition teaching courses taking expositional texts as the media.Training of logical thinking from primary to high level will be discussed detailly from three aspects: observation and comparison ability,analysis and comprehension ability as well as abstraction and generalizationability.Strategies proposed in this paper are expected to be implemented in exposition teaching with the approach of logical thinking in order to fulfill the all-round and multi-level cultivation of logical thinking among junior students.
