The Status Condition Investigation On Participation Of Tennis Enthusiasts In Taiyuan In Tennis Sport

The tennis enthusiasts are a group of people who have certain emotion and initiative behavior to tennis sport.This kind of emotion can promote them to take part in tennis activities.Tennis enthusiasts are important and indispensable factors in the developing process of tennis.The understanding,viewpoint,comprehension and behavior of tennis enthusiasts on the circumstance of the implement activities of tennis sport to some extent shows the problem appeared in the process.It is a great help for the implement of tennis sports to investigate the viewpoint and comprehension of different tennis enthusiasts.We can provide targeted and practical suggestion and viewpoint to the problem appeared and promote the development of tennis in different levels.By using the literature data method,questionnaire survey,interviewing method,Mathematical Statistics method and logic analysis method to analyze the status condition of tennis enthusiasts,the thesis shows the differences in sex,age,occupation,groups get to know it by different channels,differences between the characteristics of the behavior of groups of different occupation and provide certain suggestions to the related problem appeared.Here are the conclusions:(1)The population of male tennis enthusiasts is bigger than that of female enthusiasts in Taiyuan.The population of tennis fancier in their twenties is bigger,secondly is the people in their thirties and forties,finally is those in their fifties and teens,the population of toddlers tennis enthusiasts is the minimal.The students hold the one third of the part while the working condition of the rest tennis enthusiasts basically shows that they have more free time and their works are more stable.The income differences of tennis enthusiasts present the status of imbalance.The population of people of low income and high income is bigger while people of the middle stage of income are few.(2).More than half of tennis enthusiasts in Taiyuan have at least oneyear time of playing tennis.Their time of getting in touch with tennis is pretty long.The population of people playing tennis for less than one year holds only 24.8% of the part which is less than one third of the population.(3)The main ways for tennis enthusiasts in Taiyuan to know about tennis are mainly by television network,school,tennis clubs or tennis training organization.Ways like knowing tennis by joining social group activities or other ways are few.(4)During the different ways for tennis enthusiasts in Taiyuan of knowing various aspects of information and behavior of tennis,by interviewing groups knowing tennis by television network,the understandings of the origin place of tennis,the four Grand Slam Tennis tournaments and the game rule of the tennis are deeper,while the population of knowing by other access is less.However,according to the exercising habit of relaxing after doing sports,the television network did a bad job.Schools,tennis club,tennis association and the training organization did not do enough job to spread the relevant knowledge about tennis.(5)When practicing playing tennis,enthusiasts of different occupations in Taiyuan are willing to participate in tennis sport by joining spontaneously or in groups.Students and teachers participate more in way of tennis teaching.Public officials and retiree participate more by joining activities launched by tennis association.Other communities mainly participate through tennis clubs or training organizations.(6)Both male and female tennis enthusiasts in Taiyuan tend to focus on the basic function of tennis,which is to strengthen the physical endowment,communicate and make friends.The main purposes that they participate in are not to keep fit or participate in games.Females incline more to the function of interest and amuse their minds and bodies.People under 40 would prefer the function that tennis can keep fit.Enthusiasts above 21 prefer the function of communicating,making friends and joining in competitions.(7)Students,teachers and public officials of tennis enthusiasts in Taiyuan participate in tennis sport mainly on weekends,while there is smallerproportion from Mondays to Fridays.Retiree participate more on weekdays.The population of doing tennis sports on holidays is small.The majority of retirees and individual groups can guarantee for doing tennis exercises more than three times a week,while the participation time of students,teachers and public officials is less.(8)The tennis enthusiasts in Taiyuan tend to purchase tennis-related products online.In the consumption of tennis every month,the longer one has played,the higher the consumption of tennis-related product is.There is no prominent differences in the monthly consumption on tennis between those who have low income and those who have high income.Suggestions:(1)To adopt different propaganda and organizational method to popularize tennis sport and satisfy needs of various receptors.(2)To adopt different organizational method to promote participation,regulate spontaneous organizations or groups and to improve the facilities and services of tennis clubs.(3)Start with boosting the development of the economy and generalize tennis to promote the consumption of tennis-related industry.(4)Standardize the platform for tennis teaching,associations and clubs.To promote the correct dissemination of tennis knowledge,technical ability and culture.(5)To develop various tennis culture in different realms.Make good use of holiday times to hold tennis games to extend the influence of tennis sports.
