| In recent years, real orphans a marginalized social group has caused more and more attention from the society and government. Relying on the current situation and practice institution, this study takes the growth plight of real orphans which I contacted with service as the main subject. Through literature research, participant observation and interviews, I analyze the growth plight of real orphans deeply and try to use the professional social work methods to intervene the growth plight of real orphans. And then discuss the problems and countermeasures in the intervention process.First of all, in the view of ecological systems theory, the study divides the growth plight of real orphans into three aspects of macroscopic, the middle and microcosmic. On the micro level, the real orphans’ personal safety and psychology health have been compromised. On the middle-level, the real orphans face many difficulties such as the family financial difficulties, the absence of family education, the tension between the current guardian, and the communication of peer group is weak. On the macro level, real orphans are in the dilemmas: one is the deficiency of the institutional assistance, the other is the lack of non-institutional assistance.Secondly, in order to further illustrate how social work plays an important role in the growth dilemma of real orphans, this paper selects two cases, respectively adopts crisis intervention model and case management model to intervene in the growth dilemma of real orphans, to give full play to the families, schools, peer groups and communities in social support networks of real orphans, integrating a variety of social resources to promote the healthy growth of the real orphans. Finally, I reflect on the existing problems in the intervention process of social work, and try to put forward some countermeasures and suggestions on social work intervening in the growth dilemma of real orphans, namely formulating the national assistance policy of the real orphans, broadening the way of the social work intervention in real orphans, strengthen the professional ability of social workers, and enhancing the professional identity and awareness of social work. |
