School physical education is not only an important part of school education work,but also is the important content of the implementation of quality education today.Strengthen the development of school physical education of primary and secondary schools to improve the physical quality of adolescents,form the good habit of lifetime sports,cultivate a new generation of all-round development of talents,is particularly important.In this paper,The author choosesNan county of hunan province city secondary school physical education present situation as the research object,adopting the method of literature research,interview,questionnaire survey and so on,Nan county of hunan province city 5 middle school PE teachers,PE course,the development of extracurricular sports activities and competition status were investigated,factors constraining Nan county city secondary school physical education to carry out the discussion,and based on this,advances some Suggestions on the development of targeted,designed to provide the basis for other secondary school sports development and reference.The results show that:1.The age of physical education teachers is unreasonable,with the male to female ratio is not balanced;the teachers education overall level is not high.2.Nan city middle school physical education teaching model is single,teaching method is traditional and lack of innovation,it seriously affected the students’ interest in sports.3.Nan city middle school extracurricular sports activities are monotonous and lack of diversity,it can’t meet the students’ sports interests.4.School sports funds is not enough,part of the school sports facilities equipped is hard to meet the needs of the sports teaching and extracurricular sports activities.The importance of further strengthen leadership,increase capital investment,is very necessaryto promote the smooth development in school physical education...
