At present, the image is infiltrating all aspects of social life of people in an unprecedented way, promoting the continuous development of people's life, affecting people's reading psychology, reading methods and reading habit. Human society enter into "Picture-Reading Age". The ideological and political education courses as high school students 'required courses, which shoulder mission of spreading mainstream ideology and national policies and regulations, have an nonnegligible effect on the cultivation of students' political quality and moral level. But because of high school students' high pressure and boring course content, they more have a special liking to images. So, The teaching of Ideological and political course in high school should take fully advantages of the new opportunities brought by the age of picture-reading,comprehensive and rational examining the problems and challenges, active exploring the useful methods and strategies of improving teaching effect, thus making the ideological and political course more attractive and impressive.This paper entitled "At the Age of picture-reading the teaching effect research of the Ideological and Political Courses in Senior High School" analyzes the existing problems of the Ideological and Political Courses in Senior High School and tries to propose countermeasures to solve those problems. The paper is divided into five parts. The first part highlights the intent, research at home and abroad and method employed in the creative process of topics . The second part introduces the concept of the Picture-Reading Age , and then analyzes the major impacts the Picture-Reading Age to the Ideological and Political Courses in Senior High School. The third part analyzes the problems of Ideological and Political Courses in Senior High School at the Picture-Reading Age. The fourth part is the problems existing in the combination of reading pictures from magazine or high school thought political lesson is put forward under the map reading age, we should follow the principles of high school thought political lesson. The fifth part is the main focus of this paper, which mainly elaborates implementation strategy to improve the teaching effect research of the Ideological and Political Courses in the background of the Picture-Reading Age. The strategy consists of three parts, including make use of"Picture-Reading Age" to develop students' interest, change the old education idea to adapt "Picture-Reading Age" and optimize the teaching course by the aid of"Picture-Reading Age" .
