In recent years, with the frequent parent-teacher interaction, the parent-teacher conflicts have been increased. The research adopted case study and interviewed the principal, directors, teachers and parents in the Bluesky elementary school. The aims of the study are to explore thereasons of parent-teacher conflicts, the strategies of facing conflicts, andthe influence of conflicts.The main conclusions of this study can be summarized as follows:A. The reasons of parent-teacher conflicts in J elementary school include mal-communication, unclear liability, and the differences of education values between parent and teachers.B. The coping strategies of parent-teacher conflicts in J elementary school should be viewed in the aspects of school administrators, teachers and parents. School administrators and teachers could aim at the strategies of "Actively Control","Communicatively Negotiation" and "Passively Coordination;" while parents could apply "Actively Control" and "Negative Ignorance."C. The overall effects of parent-teacher conflicts on J elementary school tend to both positive and negative. From the school, teachers, parent and students perspectives,parent-teacher conflicts to the operation of school administration affairs and beneficial to a school growth and self-examination. Moreover, the impact of parent-teacher conflicts on teachers, parents and students depends on the teachers' attitudes toward the parent-teacher conflicts. If teachers have positive attitude towards conflicts, the influence on parents and students would be positive, too. And vice versa.
