Action research stems from problems in practice. In the process of education and teaching,the author found that there were different problems in the writing of Malaysian beginners in Malay writing, and some even developed into writing obstacles. Based on this background, this paper takes the five primary school students, who are fourth grade of Xiami Shanhua primary school, as the research object. baced on the action research,the author apply the remedial teaching method to teach them Malay writing, campOaring and analyzing the improvement of writing ferformance of five obejects before and after the remedial teaching, than try to develop a teaching program that is suitable for puppet beginners’ Malay writing.This study mainly uses the action research method, combined with observation,interview and other methods to five Chinese fourth grade students as the research object.In this action study, to remedial teaching were carried out for five fourth-year students,the specific approach is as follows: First,through the use of multiple teaching methods,a wide range of writing study design to regain five fourth-year students in Malay writing confidence, To overcome the writing obstacles, improve learning efficiency. The second is through the use of Malay teacher composition manual in the school to carry out compositional segmental teaching, continuous training of students writing skills, improve the level of writing. Thirdly through the use of writing segmental trainning stratege to teach students Malay writing, aimming to optimize the writing strategy. The findings are demonstrated as follow:1.The remedial instruction program could help beginners learn writing skill of Bahasa Malaysia.2.The remedial instruction program was significantly effective in improving the student’s writing abilities with the intervention of various teaching approaches,adequate practice, and real-life learning materials.3.The student performances of writing skill were significantly improved from the instruction.4. Based on the results,the suggestions for beginning level bahasa Malaysia teaching and further research in this domain were given.
