In modern society,critical thinking is universally regarded as aim of higher education.It is of great importance for college students to adapt to the complicated world and improve the quality of modern lives that we college students shall develop the ability of critical thinking as well as the psychological disposition of it.However,the education of critical thinking is far from satisfactory.The basic knowledge and abilities are focused on in the higher education,thus neglecting the function of teaching and students.The study of the relations between critical thinking and teaching plays an important role in the improvement of teaching behaviors,teaching reform and college students’ psychology and characteristic.On the basis of literature review,the study chooses college students in Shanghai and Zhejiang Province to analysis the relationship among college teachers’ creative teaching behavior and college students’ achievement goals and critical thinking by the quantitative analysis.It is necessary to analyze the status quo and influencing factors of their critical thinking and then exploring how these factors affect it.Conclusions are made through the survey data.1.The level of college students’ critical thinking is low,while the maturity scores best,followed by open-mindedness,truth,systematization,curiosity,analysis and confidence.2.There is no significant differences in the students’ critical thinking and its dimensions in major,educational level of their parents while significant differences exist in the dimensions of gender,education background,and grade.3.The interaction of parents’ educational mode and students’ hometown does not affect students’ critical thinking.4.The college students’ critical thinking is significantly correlated to the college teachers’creative teaching behavior and students’achievement goals.5.The students’ achievement goals partly exert mediating effect between the college teachers’ creative teaching behavior and students’ critical thinking.There are several measures needed to be done to cultivate the students’ critical thinking.First,the parental educating style,democratic educating style,shall be reformed.Second,teachers should learn to reflect and help to connect the teaching idea with the teaching behaviors to innovate their behaviors.Last,teachers should help students regard the awareness of grasping knowledge or ability as their goals.
