China's special education is developing rapidly.To make a good job of special education is the target task of China's "13th Five-Year" program.Teachers are the cornerstone of the development of special education.The investigation of teachers' professional situation can provide reference for the construction and management of special education teachers.In this study,the survey was conducted to investigate the career commitment,burnout and satisfaction of 347 special education teachers from 17 provinces in China,by using the teacher career commitment questionnaire,Maslach Burnout Inventory and career satisfaction scale as the measurement tool.Descriptive statistics,variance analysis,correlation analysis,regression analysis and other statistical methods were used to analyze the data.The results showed that:1.Age,professional ranks and income have a significant impact on career commitment of special education teachers.The ethnic,educational background and school area have a significant impact on career burnout of special education teachers.The ethnic and income have a significant impact on career satisfaction of special education teachers.2.A significant negative correlation was found between career commitment and burnout.A significant positive correlation was found between career commitment and satisfaction.A significant negative correlation was found between career burnout and satisfaction.3.The special education teachers' career commitment has a predictive effect on career burnout,and has a positive predictive effect on career satisfaction.The emotional exhaustion dimension of career burnout has a negative predictive effect on career satisfaction.4.The special education teachers' career satisfaction has mediating effect between career burnout and commitment.
