Setting up an efficient class has been the common goal for front-line educators.At present,under the new situation,how to make Chinese teaching is rejuvenated is becoming a hot topic in the field of Chinese.Since 1990 s,quality education has been the core of education reform in China.The important concept---Encourage students to have an independent understanding of Chinese text with an initiative,cooperative and probing learning methods,and respect students’ feelings and unique insights.Under the guidance of such concept,a new Curriculum Reform is being done and the models of Chinese teaching are being studied throughout the country.However,“Group teaching” is a new model in such Curriculum Reform as a new attempt so that it is identified by the majority of educators owing to its efficiency and operability.In many middle schools,this teaching method has been applied.According to such a teaching method,students are regarded as the main body in the class mainly in groups to cooperate.Based on the teacher’s leading role,students can learn in an active way,which makes Chinese classes more efficient.However,we should also realize that this method can bring some bad effects with benefits according to the practice in Chinese teaching.As we all know,this method can stimulate students’ initiative,develop their team spirit,encourage students to participate in the class in an active way,and lighten teachers’ burden and work efficiently.But there also exist some misunderstandings,such as lack of the teachers’ leading role,ignorance of practice,not enough content of class,and students’ not listening.In order to make such a method much suitable for Chinese teaching of high schools,this paper has a systematic study about such a method and also puts forward some targeted suggestions.This paper consists of four parts.The introduction is about the reasons,the meaning of study,the current study situation and the ways of study about this method.The fist part gives the definition about the method in theory,and also reveals the theoretical basis and the positive effects of this teaching method.Combined with the teaching practice,the second part states the application of this teaching method to Chinese teaching classes.Finally,this paper has a summary about this teaching method and puts forward the corresponding suggestions.The goal of this paper is to improve Chinese teaching quality according to the practical study of this teaching method.Therefore,it can make Chinese teaching more and more practical concerning about students’ characteristics.
