| With the deepening of the reform of basic education,the state has put forward higher requirements for the development of primary and secondary schools.The primary and secondary school principals as the school educators,managers,leaders,all aspects of their quality and ability to school development is essential.Qinghai Province is a multinational highland province,the basic education has a distinct national and regional,therefore,in order to further promote the development of primary and secondary education in Qinghai Province,primary and secondary school principals in Qinghai Province is facing more severe challenges.The training of primary and secondary school principals in Qinghai provides a good learning platform for improving the quality and ability of principals,and lays a good foundation for dealing with challenges and seizing the opportunity.Training courses as the core content of the training of principals,its effectiveness has attracted much attention.Based on the Human capital theory,Rodgers learning theory,Humanistic curriculum theory as the theoretical basis,this paper takes the training principals,training teachers and training managers of X Training Center of Qinghai Province as the research object,using literature research method,comparative research method,questionnaire method,interviewing method and observational method,to establish the effectiveness dimensions and influencing factors of the primary and secondary school principals training curriculum in Qinghai Province,to investigate the actuality of the effectiveness of primary and secondary school principals training courses in Qinghai.Analyzing survey data from the three dimensions of effectiveness,efficiency and participation,I find the following issues: some presidents don’t understand the curriculum objectives and lack of personal training objectives;although the courses covered a wide range of subjects,they don’t completely correspond to the training requirements;the learning effect of network training course is poor and lack of field study;principals focus on learning investment and ignore the learning outcomes,which leads to the learning efficiency is not high;principals participate in the training actively,but they have less interaction with the training teachers in the classroom.In order to further improve the effectiveness of primary and secondary school principals training curriculum in Qinghai Province,this paper combines the experience of principals training in UK and the present situation of Qinghai Province,analyzes the four influence factors of curriculum objectives,curriculum contents,curriculum implementation and curriculum evaluation.Finally I propose the following improvements: to establish a professional training teacher team;to adopt flexible and diversified curriculum implementation methods;to increase the intensity of network training supervision and to establish a base for field visits;to use the CIPP curriculum evaluation mode.In addition,I also elaborate the formulate principles of curriculum objectives,curriculum contents,curriculum implementation and curriculum evaluation,analyze the learning characteristics of principals and put forward four steps to promote the effective learning of principals from the perspective of adult learners. |
