The quadratic function is one of the most important and difficult parts in mathematics learning in junior high school.It has always been the high spot reviews of the senior high chool entrance examination.But many students knowledge of this part of the learning effect is not ideal,the score has always at a low level.Therefore,this study intends to find out the causes of junior high school students' learning difficulties of the quadratic function,and put forward the corresponding countermeasures.Firstly,the author takes the "quadratic function" as the key word in the CNKI and get 3806 results.Then he select the literature on the study of learning difficulties to cluster analysis,and sort out some of the research findings of the literature,to determine the research perspective of this study.Secondly,313 middle school students in Tianshui A middle school were tested by the questionnaire survey method and the relevant data were analyzed with Excel 2010.Finally,16 mathematics teachers and some representative students were interviewed,and the results were presented with chart.Through the investigation and analysis,the author found that the junior high school students' quarratic function learning difficulties are roughly divided into the following four categories:1.Concept learning difficulties;2.Image and character learning difficulties;3.Analytic formula learning difficulties;4.comprehensive application learning difficulties.Among them,the mainly difficulty on the concept is understanding the concept.There are five main types of image and character learning difficulties: 1.it is difficult to use the tracing point method to draw function image;2.Students are difficult to understand the symmetry of the quadratic function image;3.Students are difficult to understand the monotonicity of quadratic function image;4.Students have difficulty grasping the size of the quadratic function image;5.Students are difficult to move the quadratic function image.There are two kinds of learning difficulties in function expression: 1.Difficult to select the best solution;2.The difficulty of establishing the quadratic function expression.There are seven main problems in comprehensive application: 1.Difficulty in reading comprehension;2.Difficult to determine the range of independent variables;3.Difficult to understand specific professional nouns;4.Knowledge transfer difficulty;5.Difficulty to establishing coordinate system;6.Mathematical modeling difficulties;7.Difficulties in the use of combination of numbers and shapes.After determining the specific difficulties of junior high school students' quadratic function learning,the author makes a concrete analysis of the causes of each learning difficulty,and based on Theory and method of mathematics learning,Education,Educational psychology etc..Finally,aiming at the causes for the existence of every learning difficulties,puts forward corresponding countermeasures,hoping to provide a reference for the junior high school teaching,provide guidance and some suggestions for students to learn.
