With the advancement of higher education,higher education in China has entered a new stage of development.Especially in recent years,China's basic education reform and development of the full implementation of quality education,the school of geography teachers demand has also undergone a corresponding change,the geography teachers' teaching skills,teaching methods,knowledge structure and comprehensive quality put forward higher requirements.In order to develop more suitable for the social needs of the geographical professionals,to develop a scientific and rational personnel training program,the geographic science professionals training system of the system is extremely important.In this study,the author systematically reviews the history of the development of the training mode of Geographical Science in China from the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China to the end of twentieth Century.After consulting a large number of documents and using the method of questionnaire survey,this paper analyzes the present situation of the social and market demand of geographical science professionals since twenty-first Century.At the same time,compared the different levels of Normal University,Beijing Normal University,Huazhong Normal University,such as the setting of Hubei Normal University Geography Science Curriculum,a comprehensive analysis of the three different levels of normal universities in the similarities and differences of general education courses,professional courses,the curriculum of teacher education.Based on this,the paper makes a systematic analysis and research on the development trend of the training mode of geography specialty talents,put forward the model problems of current geography science training professional talents,and put forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions,in order to improve the training mode and provide reference for geography science professionals.The results show that: First,the demand for geography teachers in secondary schools is more inclined to improve their teaching skills and the needs of higher education and applied talents.Second,changed students' Geography SpecialtyGraduation,mainly from the past to the education sector,education,entrepreneurship,industry tourism,land and environmental protection,and into the education sector rose from 59.7% in 2012 down to 20.5% in 2016.Third,the curriculum structure is unreasonable.The main performance for the required courses,elective courses less,lack of educational practice cycle,the curriculum is outdated,cutting-edge courses.In order to further improve the talent cultivation model of geographical science,according to the needs of employers for geography specialty talents,combined with the problems existing in the training mode of professional talents of geography science,the cultivation mode of development to put forward the following suggestions: First,combined with social demand,changing the training standard.Second,pay attention to teaching skills,improve professional quality.The school should organize a number of lectures,lectures or teachers skills competition and other related activities to encourage students to take part in more exercise,improve students' practical ability.Third,optimize the curriculum,adjust the proportion of courses.Increase the teaching curriculum and practice.Fourth,update education idea,change teaching method.
