ObjectiveWith the acceleration of the population aging,China has entered an aging society.Old people has become the main population in the process of economic development in our country.At the same time,the problem of survival quality status of the elderly is also caught the attention of the society.And the problem of quality of life status of left-behind elderly in poor areas is paramount.In view of the status,we should take scientific and feasible measures,and response to ageing problem to us positively and comprehensively.Therefore,it is imminent to explore the left-behind old people life quality status and influencing factors in poor areas,to improve the left-behind elderly quality of life in poor areas,and to make it happy retirement.MethodsThe 725 left-behind elderly in the poor areas of Liaoning Province who were surveyed by the world health organization quality of life scale short form(WHOQOL---BREF)Chinese version questionnaire which contains the general information scale and the status of quality of life were selected by the purposive sampling.Firstly,SPSS19.0 software was used to build a database.Using descriptive analysis t-test,analysis of variance to describe the general situation.Using multiple linear regression analysis to study influencing factors on the quality of the left-behind elderly live in poor areas.ResultsLeft-behind elderly quality of life in the poor areas in Liaoning Province in four aspects scores(52.36±13.06)in physical,(49.27±12.45)in psychological,(48.06±12.51)in social relations,(44.24 ±13.78)in environment.The scores is less than the elderly quality of life in China in the field of average scores.The difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Single factor analysis showed that gender,age,educational level,income,living type,degree of self-care,children home frequency,degree of family harmony and pain are the influencing factors in quality of life scores.The difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Multiple linear regression analysis results show that gender,age,culture degree,income,children home frequency are the main factor affecting the physiological scores.Income,frequency of children home,family harmony degree,are the main factors influencing the psychological scores.Income,self-care ability and family harmony degree,are the main factors influencing the social relationship scores.Income,living type,degree of culture are the main factors influencing the environmental scores.The income become common factor affecting scores in four areas.ConclusionThe study found that in poor areas of the left-behind elderly quality of life scores is low.Income become one of the most important influencing factors.Children home frequency affects the physiological and psychological aspects of the scores,the family harmony degree affects the psychological and social aspects of the scores.Therefore,the government should actively develop policies,take measures to improve life income level of the left-behind elderly in the poor areas,perfect service facilities of life and health care facilities,strengthen health knowledge propaganda,raise awareness of the health of the elderly.To ensure left-behind elderly quality of life in poor areas.At the same time,the government should improve cultural and entertainment facilities,enrich the daily life of old people,strengthen the psychological support.Family endowment function plays a maximum full role,makes the life quality of old people better.
