A Probe Into The Path Of Fostering College Students’ Socialism Core Values By The History And Culture Of The School

The implementation of reform and opening up and the establishment of the socialist market economic system have brought leapfrog development to our country and enhanced China’s comprehensive national strength.In this process, various social trends, values and lifestyles, which are contrary to the collectivist values advocated by the society, are influential in our thinking and values.Nowdays the growth of college students is accompanied by the pace of reform and opening up, the development of socialist market economy.The mainstream values are positive, but there are also some utilitarian, practical,individualistic tendencies.College students’ values are related to the prosperity of the country and the great cause of national rejuvenation. Therefore, it is very important to cultivate the socialist core values in college students.College students spend most of their time in university campuses, and have a natural connection with the university culture. University students are influenced on the construction of university culture.The school history culture is characterized by inheritance, radiation, edifying.As part of the university culture, the university history culture should play the role of ideological and political education in the process of cultivating the core socialist values of college students.In this paper, the university history culture is the carrier to explore the cultivation of the socialist core values of the path,in oder to find the point of convergence about the university history culture and the socialist core values.The paper consists of four chapters. The first chapter is the introduction of the research background, the research significance, the research present situation, the research mentality and the method, the research innovation and so on. The second chapter is the theoretical basis and realistic basis for cultivating the core values of college students’ socialist culture. The theoretical bases include the indoctrination theory of Marxism, the carrier theory of ideological and political education, Xi Jinping’s concept of cultural self-confidence. The realistic bases are the internal relations between the school history culture and the socialist core values,the strong thrust of cultivating and practising the socialist core values, and the rapid growth of university history research and construction. The third chapter is about the status quo of university students’ cognition of school history culture and socialist core values, including the survey questionnaire, the cognition status and causes of college students about school history culture, and the cognition of college students’ core values of socialism and the reasons for the analysis of the relationship between the two students understand the situation.The fourth chapter explores the concrete path of cultivating college students’ socialist core values from four aspects: content construction, subject construction,campus landscape construction and communication.
