The construction of the school culture is a decisive factor in the school development.The school culture with its invisible power shapes the core values of schools and changes the behavior of teachers and students.The way of thinking,moral concept and cognitive behavior of primary and middle school students are influenced by enlightenment,norm,edification and suggestion in elementary and secondary education in order to make students walk toward the road to comprehensive and quality education.With the increasingly rich material conditions,the school culture as the school’s strong soft-power on the stage.JW primary school selects patriotism as the theme of their school culture construction according to its own tradition and national policy.All the teachers and students of the school have participated in the construction impressively and it has become the patriotic characteristic school in Shanxi Province.This paper selects JW primary school as the research object,has a comprehensive interpretation of its school culture construction,hoping to provide experience and reference for the school culture construction of other schools.This paper mainly adopts literature method,case study method and interviewing method.Firstly,the author reviewed the construction of the school culture and patriotism related to a large number of CNKI literature and books,paving the way for the early work.Then,the author uses case study to take JW primary school for the field investigation,mining the facts and collecting the arguments.And at the same,interviewing some representative teachers to get first-hand information.This paper is divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction and it explains the origin and significance of the research,and defines the related concepts.The second part introduces the idea of patriotism school culture of JW primary school,illustrates the profound historical and cultural tradition,the idea of school culture construction and the characteristics of historical culture of JW primary school.The third part expounds the cultural construction of JW primary school,which is divided into four parts:spiritual culture,material culture,behavior culture and system culture,showing theconstruction characteristics of various parts.The last part is the reflection,including enlightenment and deficiency and suggestions.Through the thinking of study,the author summed up the success of JW primary school school culture has the following points:First,JW primary school lies in the clear theme of practical activities,and carries out activities closely around the theme;second,with the spiritual culture as lead,the other three were synchronous collaborative culture construction;third,JW straightened out the relationship of the school culture and school tasks;finally,based on the original school history tradition,JW continue to develop innovation,giving the school culture new connotation.At the same time,the JW primary school have some insufficient in the following aspects:first,there is still difficulty to balance the school quality education and examination-oriented education;second,the charactetistics development and too many characteristics of school culture;third,relationship between "teaching" and "educating people" to balance;fourth,the intention and the result of evaluation mechanism is contrary.In JW,the author thinks that the key of improving primary school the cultural quality is improving the culture quality of teacher in the moment.
