Discipline is one kind of social norm which appears along with the production of human society,and it is essential for the good operation of the collective.As an important cultural heritage institution,schools and teachers bear the responsibility of teaching and educating,discipline education in school not only should maintain the normal order of the school,but also cultivate their spirit of discipline and self-discipline.Although there are a lot of discipline education,the education effect is poor:On the one hand,harsh and mandatory measures didn't achieve the school anticipated goal,on the other hand,students on the whole did not achieve the internalization of discipline,and lack of ability to actively participate in the discipline management.This study review the research situation and results of discipline education with the literature method,and analyzes the function,necessity,the purpose,value orientation,the implementation principle of discipline education and the implementation of specific aspects.The two functions include:education function emphasizes discipline education should be conducive to the growth and development of students,which is helpful to cultivating students' autonomy,participation and democratic awareness and other aspects of quality management function;as to the collective interests,the implementation of discipline which can be adjusted by means of control,restraint should maintain the normal order of the organization.Thus,the purpose is to maintain order in school activities,cultivate students' self-discipline ability and personality,more,educating people should be the value orientation;therefore,discipline education should adhere to the human nature,according to the principle of consistency and coherence,and pay attention to each link in the implementation of specific methods.Through a questionnaire survey and interviews,the writer found the effect is just passable,which results in the existence of these problems:misunderstanding of the purpose and a deviation of value orientation on discipline education;what's more,in the process of implementation,the teachers do not adhere to correct principles,and other specific problems.Aimed at the problems of the disciplinary education,the improvement strategies can be:first,establish a scientific idea;Second,to formulate reasonable disciplinary rules;Again,set up and maintain the authority of the discipline;Finally,improve the students' ability of self-discipline through reasonable education evaluation.
