| British was the first European country to organize Chinese education,the signed< Sino-British Education Cooperation Framework Agreement > in 2000,and the measure which added Chinese test into GCSE and A-level,prompted Chinese education to develop faster,especially in primary education part.The primary school Chinese education of that country is relatively completed,more and more schools have put Chinese and other European selected languages(etc.French;Spanish)on the same important place.The scale of Chinese class participants is getting increased,from reception to Y6 students,included all grades.The class type is very abundant,including normal class(all class students joined);club class(voluntarily joined);charitable class(etc.Blackpool Chinese Sunday school organized by local Chinese).Do the research on Chinese learning motivation of British primary school students,and put forward useful measures to increase students’ motivation,have a very important realistic value to further Chinese education work.This thesis did a research on primary school students who were learning Chinese of British Blackpool,according to the modified motivation questionnaire,made a survey to the students from three special local schools,analyzed the real situation of students’ Chinese learning motivation objectively,put forward effectively stimulate measures.This paper included five parts:The fist part is introduction part,introduced background;goals;meanings;thinking ideas;references of the research.The second part is working part,clarified working plans of the questionnaire,included preparation work;researching tools;questionnaire forms,analyzed the reliability and validity of the survey.The third part is the main part of the whole thesis,divided into two small parts.Firstly did statistical analysis and exploratory factor analysis about the data,concluded the whole situation of students’ Chinese learning motivation,and put them into specific types;Then,described situation of the participants,did correlation analysis according to the individual variables,found individual variables’ influence to their Chinese learning motivation.The fourth part is a development of the third part,according to the data analysis results,pointed out some problems of Chinese education about that region,and explained the measures to increase students’ motivation from three different sides.The five part is conclusion part,clarified the final research results and pointed out the inadequacy of this thesis. |
