Sociological Study Of Country Doctor's Choice On Drug Purchasing Mode

Medical issue is one of the most prominent social problems at present in our country.The rural medical treatment is one important part of China's medical enterprise,meanwhile,its' strength is relatively weak.Up till now,there are 800 million residents in the rural areas,this part of the rural residents have huge demands for medical sources.Then,the study would make sense about that basic unit medical establishment's drug purchase.Therefore,in this paper,"The Country Doctor how to choose the drug purchasing mode" is the core of the research questions.New institutionalism theory point out that the system environment can restrain action subject,at the same time,action subject will not passively obey the system requirements.This paper,take sociology of new institutionalism as theoretical perspective,make T town Country Doctor' drug purchase mode as the research object,then analyzes Country Doctor' two different options about drug purchasing on the last decade of the twentieth century and one period after 2000:the last decade of the twentieth century---------free scattered procurement mode;one period after 2000--the passive combination mode of Centralized purchase and free scattered procurement.By analyzing the possible subjective strength which may affect Country Doctor' choice,this paper tries to find out its internal logic about making a choice,and the possible subjective strength includes state(system environment),market,client(rural residents),the country field and the Country Doctor.At last,the research findings as follows:Country Doctor as the choice subjective,his proper pursuit of interests under the consideration for the interest as a ' vulnerable individual' is the motive and cause of choice;State and market as the external force to formulate individual action is the conditions of Country Doctor's choose" how can be possible",at the same time,the relationship between the state and the market mainly depends on the balance of power between them;Rural field internally shaping the behavior of individual preferences and psychological quality in the form of cultural tradition and social cognitive,consumer preferences and payment capacity of rural residents provides operation experience,thus forms the foundation of Country Doctor to make a choice.
