| In recent years, the sports elective course has brought tremendous changes to the domestic middle and higher education stage physical education. As the practice proved that the sports elective course was different from the general large class physical teaching, which brought both the students and schools significantly positive impact. At present, the domestic higher education stage has basically fully implemented the sports elective course system, and the secondary education stage of the sports elective course is also in full swing in the development. Carrying out sports elective courses in primary school education stage has become the direction of physical education reform.This essay mainly studies students’ interests , motivation and attitude towards’sports learning, and the basic situation of the PE elective course in Changchun Street,Jiang’an District, Wuhan City, Changchun Street Primary School through the methods of literature and questionnaire survey. Besides, physical education teachers and sports material environment and other related conditions of the comprehensive are also analyzed, researched and descripted comprehensively.This paper aims to reveal the current situation, characteristics and existing problems of the current PE teaching work in Changchun Street Primary School in Jiangan District , and put forward the corresponding improvement measures. It aims to provide beneficial reference of the teaching quality, the overall teaching level and the reform and development of physical education in Changchun Street primary school in Jiangan District.The results show:First, in recent years, the research scope of sports elective courses in China has gradually shifted to lower education, and the research on higher education and secondary education has been refined. The methods of research on sports elective courses are becoming more and more abundant and complicated. There are few studies on sports elective courses in primary schools.Secondly, the vast majority of students in Changchun Street Primary School in Jiang’an District of Wuhan City hold positive attitude towards physical education, and are fond of sports classes and willingness to participate in sports activities for various reasons.What’s more, they support sports elective courses.Thirdly, the workload of PE teachers in Changchun Street primary school in Jiang’an District of Wuhan City is generally large, and the salary of non-compiled teachers is unbalanced. Most of the physical education teachers show professional quality gap in sports elective courses requirement, but they are willing to continue education ,improve their teaching level in order to better themselves to carry out sports elective courses.Fourthly, during the course of carrying out the sports elective class in Jiangan District Changchun Street Primary School, we see that there’s high requirement towards the school’s sports hardware facilities and teachers quality, which brought no small burden to the school. Therefore, the school needs to pay more attention to sports investment,and have a reasonable arrangement of PE teacher’s curriculum.Fifthly, with the development of society, the school’s hardware facilities conditions have improved step by step with people’s attention to the different stages of education.Jiang’an District Changchun Street Primary School pays attention to the importance of primary school physical education, and the school is equipped with a more complete sports venues and sports equipment. Besides , the campus often carries out campus sports activities, which is also helpful to the development of sports elective courses.Sixth, some of the other teachers attach little importance to PE class. There is the phenomenon of occupation and hindering the students actively participate in physical exercise.The evaluation model of primary school sports elective course is still not perfect enough, and the evaluation method of students and PE teachers is still in the groping stage and hasn’t form a mature evaluation system, which has a negative impact on the development of sports elective courses. |
