According to the "Compulsory Education English Curriculum Standard (2011 Edition)",the English course in compulsory education not only teaches students 'language knowledge and trains language skills, but also undertakes the task of developing their personal qualities. That is, learning English can broaden their horizons,enrich their life experience, form the cross-cultural awareness, foster their positive emotions, attitudes and values. However, reflecting on the English teaching practice in junior school, we can find that teachers pay their attention to the students' cognition development and neglect the cultivation of students' emotion, attitude and values. This not only leads to ineffectiveness of the language learning but also hinders the students'comprehensive development. So this paper focuses on this two points : firstly, how to make full use of the positive emotion in the learning process to improve the effectiveness of English learning; secondly, how to cultivate the students' healthy emotion, positive attitude and proper values to promote their comprehensive development in the process of English learning .Through the method of questionnaire and interview, I have learned about the current situation of implementation of the Emotion and Attitude curriculum objectives in junior school English teaching. On the basis of analyzing the questionnaire and interview notes, I have summarized the problems and causes of the implementation of the objectives in English teaching and put forward some suggestions about how to implement the Emotion and Attitude curriculum objectives in junior school English teaching.This paper is made of six parts.Introduce part: firstly, this part introduces why choose this topic; then discusses the significance of this research; next summarizes and analyzes the current situation of this research; finally, introduces the methods that used in this paper .Part ?: this part mainly introduces what is the Emotion Attitude and Values curriculum objectives. Firstly, define the emotion, attitude and values separately, and discuss their relations. Secondly, analyze the development, contents and basic ideas of Emotion and Attitude objectives in junior school English teaching .Part ?: this part is about the representation of the Emotion and Attitude objectives in English textbooks "Go for it”,which have been issued by People's Education Press. On the one hand , I study how this English textbook represents the Emotion and Attitude objectives in its writing principles and writing ideas. On the other hand, I study this in its tasks, contents and illustration.Part ?: this section is about the current situation of the implementation of Emotion and Attitude objectives in junior school English teaching. Through the method of questionnaire and interview, the current situation is investigated. Then, on the basis of investigation, I discovered the existing problems about the implementation of Emotion and Attitude objectives in junior school English teaching.Part ?: this part mainly explains why it is difficult to implement the Emotion and Attitude objectives in junior school English teaching. I find some reasons about English teachers, schools, parents and the education systems.Part ?: this part discusses how to implement the Emotion and Attitude curriculum objectives in junior school English teaching.
