Because of the necessity of ethical sensitivity in early childhood professional structure, and the realistic background of the deficiency of ethical sensitivity in early childhood education, the ethical sensitivity of kindergarten teachers attracts researchers' interests. The ethical sensitivity refers to the ability that teachers appreciate and interpret the ethical implication in daily care and educational situations, including three core components:ethical awareness, consequence consciousness, and emotional experience. In the current study,we discussed the current situations of kindergarten teachers' ethical sensitivity, and the influencing factors by three tasks:(1)Developing a tool which can accurately measure the kindergarten teachers' ethical sensitivity.(2)Measuring the actual level of kindergarten teachers' ethical sensitivity.(3)Exploring the influencing factors of ethical sensitivity. In Task 1,to macroscopically understand the cognition of ethical sensitivity,we conducted an open questionnaire survey on the kindergarten teachers.and collected cases. With the cases,we formatted Situational Ethical Sensitivity Questionnaire(SESQ),and collected 504 kindergarten teachers' data to test the structure, reliability and validity of the SESQ.Finally,we set up a questionnaire which include 8 dimensions and 34 items. The reliability and validity of the SESQ meet the criteria of psychological measurement. In Task 2,with the self-designed SESQ and open questionnaire survey,we invited another 455 kindergarten teachers and found:(1)The level of kindergarten teachers' sensitivity is in the range of average level and good level.(2)There is an uneven developmental distribution of different fields. On the ethical concerns, kindergarten teachers are only sensitive to the ethical problems in the interaction between teachers and children, rather in the interactions between teachers and children's parents, colleagues and leadership, community and society. On the structural dimensions of ethical sensitivity, kindergarten teachers' had a highest score on the dimension of consequence consciousness,a middle score on emotional experience dimension, and a lower score on the ethical awareness dimension.(3)The differences of ethical sensitivity are significant between teacher' s teaching age, title and marriage statue, specifically, mature teachers(teach for>10 years)have the highest ethical sensitivity, the novice teachers(teaching for<3 years)are in middle, and the experience teachers(teaching for 4-9 years)are the lowest. There is a significant difference between mature teacher and experienced teacher. On the professional title variable, the ethical sensitivity was the highest in the teachers with senior professional title, second in the teachers with no title, and lowest in the teacher with professional titles 1.The difference between senior title and title 1 was significant.Hence,we concluded that an insensitive period existed in the process of kindergarten teachers' professional development. On the marriage statue variable, they were married and parous, unmarried women, married nonparous woman by descending order. The ethical sensitivity of married and parous teachers was significantly higher than that of married nonparous teacher. There were no significant differences in the educational background, major and kindergarten grade. In Task 3,based on the previous studies, researchers proposed the research hypothesis primarily. And then formatted interview outline,62 kindergarten teachers who participated questionnaire investigation were randomly selected for semi-structured interviews.Combined the results in the interview and questionnaire investigation,we included that the influencing factors to kindergarten teachers' ethical sensitivity include:(1)The clarity of injury caused by ethical information in the situation;(2)Teachers' teaching age, professional title, fertility status, ethics educational background and other external factors;(3)teachers' disposition, professional identity, professional values and other internal psychological factors.
