Study On The Influence Of Wechat To Undergraduates In Ideological And Political Education And The Countermeasures

Currently, WeChat has become a hot spot of domestic instant messaging software in China. Since WeChat appeared in 2011, the number of users has been growing quickly. In November 2013, the quantity of WeChat’s registered users has exceeded 600 million, and WeChat has become the holder which has the largest user groups in the industry of instant messaging software of mobile in Asia. The college students accounts for a large proportion of the WeChat’s users. They acquire knowledge and information, and go on interpersonal communication through the WeChat, which also, in turn, has profound effect on their attitude toward life, and ways of thinking and behaviors and has a significant impact on the effectiveness of the ideological and political education of college students in our country ultimately.This paper studies the effect of WeChat on the ideological and political education of college students through the questionnaires, document research, observation and experience summary. And the positive and negative effects of the WeChat on the ideological and political education of college students have been seen based on the research and analysis. This paper proposes countermeasures against the negative effects of WeChat and explores the ways to better serve the ideological and political education.Firstly, this paper introduces the basic situation of WeChat. Secondly, it surveys the using situation of the WeChat of the college students through a questionnaire, and analyzes the data, and conducts the feasibility analysis of the ideological and political education which uses WeChat as a carrier according to the outcome of the research. It turns out that the conclusion is completely feasible. It also analyzes the positive and negative effects of the WeChat on the ideological and political education of college students. Thirdly, it analyses the problems of the role that the WeChat playing in the ideological and political education of college students, and explores the ways to effectively solve the above problem and actively build a practical WeChat system in the ideological and political education of college education. Finally, this paper presents countermeasures how the WeChat can be used in the ideological and political education of college students at the national,the social and families’,the colleges’ and the college students’ level. These countermeasures have significant point in making innovations in the ideological and political education of college students.
