The examination has always played an important role in China's education system,which is an important way to test the quality of education,one of the important ways to evaluate teachers,as well as a way to examine student's degree of command of learned knowledge.The academic examinations in university is the main content of college curriculum assessment,which is a measure,identify and evaluate activity in student's moral,learning,talent,knowledge,sport and other aspects according to the needs of the course.The examination is to understand the degree that how many learned content does the student master,as well as to discover student's pros and cons,so as to review or predict student's development.For students,the examination is to encourage them to study;for teachers,is to check the results,sum up experience,and improve teaching;for schools,is to monitor the quality of education and raise the level of education;for the country,is to enhance national quality,to practice and develop national values.Therefore,the examination on the curriculum assessment in colleges and universities is an indispensable means for promoting students,teachers,schools and even social development.American higher education is at the forefront of the world,whose college academic examination has many places worthy of our university.At the same time examining the master degree of the student to the subject,academic examinations in American colleges and universities also focus on the examination of other students' abilities,in order to promote student's comprehensive development in moral,learning,talent,knowledge,sport and other aspects.American college curriculum examination has various forms,mainly including several forms like written examination,oral examination,submission of research results,computer and online examinations,operational examinations,etc.The examination content is based on "teaching materials" and higher than it;while the scoring criteria have their principles of non-compromise,but also give enough tolerance and support to students' views;the presentation of performance is a grade rather than a specific score;the examination suspension procedure is simple,and there does not have make-up examination,but need to pay for retake;if student has any issues like cheating on the exam,academic plagiarism,he will have severe punishment.In short,the US college exam has the features of advanced concept,form diversity,content synthesis,test coherent and cumbersome,attention to integrity,etc.,which has a positive impact on students,teachers,schools and society.On the basis of analyzing these several examinations methods from many aspects,this paper will analyze the exams involved in the syllabus of psychology at the University of Central Florida.University of Central Florida(usually referred to as UCF)was established in 1963,which is one of the largest undergraduate education public university located in the city of Orlando,Florida,USA,and is a member of the Florida State University.This paper intends to take the academic examinations of the University of Central Florida as an example to analyze and study the academic examinations of American higher education.Finally,aiming at the problems existing in the examination of colleges and universities in our country,and combing with the advantages of American college examinations,I make the following suggestions: first,humanize the examination concept;second,diversify the examination forms;third,hierarchic the scores;fifth,strict the academic integrity problems;fourth,Strengthening the curriculum examination feedback and analysis of test paper.
